ABOUT ME

Artist, landscape architect & travel adventurer

My name is Andrea Lind. I am continually inspired by my travels around the world, which now includes over 50 countries! I take my sketchbook and camera wherever I go. My favorite subjects include nature, food, and architecture. I’ve been practicing landscape architecture for over 25 years, so I have a keen eye for design. Now, I’m looking to make art again. I studied art in college and was most inspired by a summer abroad in Tuscany. My media includes watercolor & ink, pastels, acrylic, photography and printmaking, but I am still exploring! "Me, myself and I" am planning for the next adventure! Sketching in the wild has made for some funny  stories, including almost being run over by horses on Easter Island.

My Journey to South East Asia

One of my favorite journeys was to Thailand, Laos and Cambodia. The amazing historical sites, kind people, and good food inspired a theme in my art work.
